The IAIR Team returned to Long Beach on Friday September 28th. The team is made up of U21 Indigenous select side players. The IAIR was at Long Beach in 2015 and was one of the strongest teams that Long Beach has played in the last several years. This past Friday was no different. This was Long Beach's first game since last April and had lots of new faces on the roster that got a chance to shine! At the 35min mark the IAIR was up 12-7 with Long Beach camped on their try line, but with a lost ball the IAIR scored on the half to make it 19-7 at the Half. The second half Long Beach showed that it was only the 3rd week into training and ran out of gas. The final score was 54-7 IAIR. Many positives for Long Beach were seen for the upcoming season and we will have conditioning going into full swing this week!
